Overview

The Erlangen Forest Christmas 2025 took place from November 24th to December 24th, 2025, at Schlossplatz. For about four weeks, the square in front of the Margravial Residence transformed into a winter fir forest with stalls, a stage program, and the traditional Peace Light ceremony.

The 2025 edition opened on November 24th, 2025, and ran until Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2025. Around 60 wooden stalls were set up between real fir trees on Schlossplatz, complemented by the daily stage program featuring Erlangen bands and ensembles, the scouts' Peace Light ceremony, the Wishing Tree campaign, and a children's carousel.

Opening hours were weekdays from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, weekends until 9:30 PM, Sundays from 11:00 AM; on Christmas Eve until 2:00 PM. The fir tree market started in early December.
