The 2025 Erfurter Altstadtfrühling took place as usual around Easter on Domplatz. Around 58 showman businesses with classic rides, the Fortress Tower, and Wilder Maus attracted the approximately 300,000 visitors who have made this spring festival the opening of the Erfurt Volksfest season for decades.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition took place as usual around Easter on Domplatz. Around 58 showman businesses brought classic rides and top attractions to the square in front of the Cathedral and St. Severus Church. The Fortress Tower, the Wilde Maus, and the multi-story Dschungel-Camp were the main draws. The traditional Easter Bunny visit on Easter Sunday and Monday delighted families again in 2025. Good Friday, as always, remained closed. With around 300,000 visitors, the festival remained Thuringia's most successful spring Volksfest in 2025.
