The Taarstedt Duck Race 2025 took place, as every year in August, on the Scholderuper Au. The Taarstedt Volunteer Fire Brigade organized the cheerful summer festival day with a plastic duck race, festivities on the bank, and an award ceremony in the Bürgerpark.
In 2025, the duck race once again attracted families from Taarstedt and the surrounding villages to the Scholderuper Au. The combination of a cheerful spectacle and a charitable cause — supporting the Volunteer Fire Brigade — has been the recipe for success for years for the event in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Schleswig-Flensburg district.
