Hop Queen Election 2025 – Theresa Eisenrieder Crowned

On Monday, August 11, 2025, the festival tent of the 75th Hallertau Volksfest in Wolnzach crowned the new Hallertau Hop Queen. Among several candidates from the Hallertau, Theresa Eisenrieder (25 years old) from Oberpindhart prevailed. Together with the Vice Queen and the Hop Princess, she will represent the Hallertau worldwide for the next two years.

The election was musically accompanied by the Marktkapelle Wolnzach; the candidates were questioned by a jury of hop growers, market, and brewing industry representatives. After the vote in the festival tent, the ceremonial coronation with crown, sash, and hop wreath followed – a much-photographed highlight of the anniversary Volksfest celebrating the 75th birthday of the Hallertau Volksfest.
