Overview
The 15th edition of the Ecumenical Film Festival Recklinghausen took place in March 2025 at Cineworld. As in previous years, twelve feature films, one documentary, and several short films were shown, the Ecumenical Film Award was presented, and the accompanying format “Church and Cinema” for 2025 was introduced.
The 2025 edition continued the festival's mission: international films on dignity, faith, and responsibility, complemented by film discussions and encounters with cultural creators and theologians from the Diocese of Münster and the Protestant regional church.
