Edition 2025 — Baptism Festival Bremerhaven
In 2025, the church communities of Bremerhaven also celebrated their ecumenical baptism festival at the Weser lido. After a joint service, the communities administered numerous baptisms at the water's edge. The festival brought together around a thousand guests from various denominations.
The 2025 edition followed the proven format: all communities of the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Bremerhaven, the Reformed Community, the Große Kirche, and the Catholic Community invited to the ecumenical baptism festival at the Weser lido. After a joint service, individual baptisms took place at the water's edge. The open, summery celebration brought together families and guests from various denominations on the banks of the Weser.
