Durlacher Kerwe 2025
In September 2025, Durlach once again celebrated its traditional Kerwe in front of Karlsburg castle. Four days of festivities featuring rides, Baden catering, and live music marked the weekend. Musikverein Söllingen opened on Friday with brass music, Rock Brigade brought classic rock covers on Saturday, and The Big B's performed award-winning party music on Sunday. Thousands of Karlsruhe residents and guests from the entire region flocked to the Durlach district center.
The Sunday shopping event complemented the festival program and drew additional crowds to Durlach's main street. With its over 400-year-old Kirchweih tradition as a backdrop and the majestic Karlsburg castle as its setting, the Kerwe once again demonstrated its status as one of Karlsruhe's most important district festivals — a tradition that will return from September 18th to 21st, 2026.
