Edition 2025 — Drahteselmarkt Lünen
The Drahtesel- und Frühlingsmarkt 2025 took place, as is traditional, in April at Willy-Brandt-Platz, Tobiaspark, and Alter Markt in Lünen. A double market featuring a Spring Market with exhibitors, live music, and culinary offerings, and a Drahteselmarkt with bicycle service and test rides — the start of the Lünen city center season.
2025 Review
The Drahtesel- und Frühlingsmarkt 2025, like in previous years, ran as a combined city center event on a Saturday in April. The city of Lünen (City Marketing) spread the program across Willy-Brandt-Platz, Tobiaspark, and Alter Markt with approximately 50 exhibitors. Similar to 2026, the event combined the larger Spring Market with the specialized Drahteselmarkt for bicycle mobility.
Program constants included live music from the Lünen music school, club presentations, culinary stands, and the children's program in the bicycle area. The Spring Market reaffirmed its role as a central spring event for the city center and the start of the outdoor dining season.
