Overview
In 2025, around 350 amateur actors from Furth im Wald performed the Drachenstich in the specially constructed Drachenstich Arena. Tradinno, the 16-meter-long dragon robot, was used as every year. The highlight was the Historical Procession on the second festival Sunday with well over a thousand participants in 15th-century costumes.
In parallel to the folk play, Cave Gladium transformed the old town into a medieval market with encampments, craft demonstrations, minstrels, and sword fighting shows. The traditional Volksfest (folk festival) on the fairgrounds complemented the festival program.
