The 36th International Kite Festival 2025 once again attracted thousands of families to Volkspark Potsdam. Professional kite flights, a hands-on program, and a packed family offering marked the last major open-air weekend of the season.

The International Kite Festival in Volkspark Potsdam 2025 – the 36th edition – took place on the last weekend of September and followed the established three-day format of professional kite flights, a hands-on area, stage shows, a family rally, and bouncy castles. The organizer was Volkspark Potsdam; kite flyers from several European countries provided a diverse sky program. Admission and family offerings largely corresponded to the 2026 edition. Detailed public statistics for 2025 are not centrally maintained by Volkspark; however, the Kite Festival has been a fixture for Brandenburg families at the end of the season since 1990.
