Edition 2025 — Dragon Boat Festival Haselbacher See
The 19th edition of the Dragon Boat Festival at Haselbacher See once again attracted numerous teams and spectators in 2025. Dragon boat races took place on the lake near Meuselwitz throughout the day — one of the most important sporting events in the Altenburger Land. Accompanied by music, food, and family entertainment on the beach.
The 2025 edition continued the tradition maintained since 2006. Over 100 teams started, and the Aqua Fun Wintersdorf club grounds filled with paddlers, drummers, and spectators. The colourful dragon boats characterized the scenery of Haselbacher See, and the sound of drumming echoed throughout the day. Music, food stalls, and beach access complemented the sporting competition, making it a thoroughly successful summer day in the Altenburger Land.
