Overview

The 2025 Dragon Boat Indoor Cup took place on Saturday, January 25th, in the Schwimm- und Sprunghalle im Europasportpark. 34 teams were registered and competed against each other in five groups of seven teams each. Fun Cup with Berlin hobby teams, Nations Cup with national teams from Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, and Slovakia. Organiser: Berliner Bäder-Betriebe. Free admission for spectators.

The 2025 edition continued the format of the Indoor Dragon Boat Cup. 34 teams competed in five groups of seven teams each, with parallel races on four lanes in the 50-meter pool making the competition day dense and entertaining. The Nations Cup with teams from six European countries (Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovakia) confirmed the international character of the Berlin format – which remains one of the largest indoor dragon boat competitions in Central Europe.

As always, the Schwimm- und Sprunghalle im Europasportpark offered the ideal infrastructure: a 50-meter pool, four lanes, a grandstand for several hundred spectators. Admission for the public was free. The 2025 edition paved the way for the 2026 event, which is expected at the end of January as usual.
