Edition 2025 — Christmas City
The 2025 Dortmund Christmas City once again attracted around 3.5 million visitors to the city center. The world record Christmas tree (45 m, 138,000 LEDs) on Hansaplatz and over 250 market stalls created a Christmas atmosphere for six weeks.
The 2025 edition of the Christmas City continued the tradition: erection of the world record tree, lighting ceremony for the opening, market stalls until after the Christmas holidays. One of the tourist highlights of the Ruhr region.
