24th Dorfweihnacht Reichenbach

The 23rd edition of the Reichenbach Dorfweihnacht took place in 2025 following the tried-and-tested pattern: from 3 PM, the refreshment stands in the village center opened, the brass ensemble played outdoors, and mulled wine and bratwurst over an open fire warmed guests from Reichenbach and the surrounding Frankenwald villages of Tschirn, Steinwiesen, Wallenfels, and Nordhalben.

Over the years, the format has established itself as a quiet alternative to the commercial large markets — a deliberate preservation of local culture that has become an annual tradition for the Original Reichenbacher Blasmusik. With the 24th edition in 2026, it will continue.
