Overview

The Dörpling and Pahlen Village Flea Market 2025 took place on Saturday, September 6th — as always on the first weekend of September. Dozens of addresses in both village centres opened their yards and garages, visitors from the Eider communities and neighbouring towns walked or cycled from stall to stall. Free admission.

Proven Concept

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the strength of the concept: organizing a flea market without a central marketplace creates a blend of shopping and village discovery that is rare in this form. Many participants reported intense conversations with residents they would never have met otherwise.

Embedded in the Village Calendar

As in previous years, the date was set right after the end of the summer holidays in Schleswig-Holstein, forming one of the central annual highlights of the four Eider communities, along with the village festival in July and the Christmas market in November.

Programme

Market opening in the morning in both village centres, map with participating addresses at the community centres and online, market ends in the late afternoon.
