Overview

The Willaringen village festival takes place every two years – the last edition before 2026 was held in May 2024. As there was no village festival in 2025 due to the cycle, the next edition is in 2026. Organizers and format remain unchanged: Music Association, Fire Brigade, festival tent with Hotzenwald decoration, Saturday party bands, Sunday brass music day.

Biannual Cycle

The Willaringen village festival takes place every two years – the last edition before 2026 was held in May 2024. In 2025, there was no village festival due to the cycle, which was used as a break year in the small Hotzenwald village.

The 2024 edition followed the traditional format: festival tent at the town hall with Hotzenwald decoration, party bands on Saturday evening, and brass music day on Sunday with guest ensembles. The Music Association Alpenblick Willaringen and the Volunteer Fire Brigade Willaringen organized it together. The biannual rhythm leads to smaller team sizes, less preparation effort, and greater anticipation in the break years.
