The Wewer village festival in 2025 took place as usual on the last Sunday in June with a mass and St. John's Procession. Organized by the St. Johannes and St. Hubertus Rifle Brotherhood. Catering at the festival grounds next to the parish church.

In 2025, the village festival in Paderborn-Wewer also followed the established format: a festive mass in the parish church of St. Johannes Baptist in the morning, followed by the St. John's Procession through the district and catering at the festival grounds by the rifle brotherhood.
The event is one of the traditional annual highlights in Wewer's community life — a meeting place for families, neighbours, and former Wewer residents returning for the hometown festival. In 2025, the parish community also took the opportunity to celebrate the feast day of St. John the Baptist.
