Overview

The Schenkenzell village festival 2025 took place over three days at the end of July in the village center, confirming the established program of a moped meet, dance evening, ecumenical service, family program, and craftsmens' supper. In 2025, as in previous years, the Schenkenzell clubs and the municipality jointly organized the festival, which is considered one of the most important summer highlights in the Kinzigtal.

2025 — Proven Tradition

The 2025 festival also proceeded as planned over three days: Saturday dance evening, Sunday family day, Monday supper. The Holzebener and the Schwarzwald Quintett have been fixtures of the festival weekend for years. The beer crate stacking and the Juks-Mobil attract families from all over the middle Kinzigtal.

With its village festival, Schenkenzell showcases what makes a typical Black Forest village between Schiltach and Wolfach special: a dense club life, a strong local identity, and a program designed not for tourists, but for its own community — and precisely for this reason, it also appeals to outsiders.
