Overview

The Großes Ruhpolding Dorffest 2025 was held at the end of August in the ice stadium, organized by the traditional costume association D'Miesenbacher Ruhpolding. As every year, locals and holiday guests gathered for the Trachtenkapelle, Goaßlschnalzer, beer garden atmosphere, and Chiemgau-Bohemian brass music — the annual summer customs meeting in the Chiemgau.

In 2025, the traditional costume association D'Miesenbacher Ruhpolding once again invited guests to its grand village festival in the Ruhpolding ice stadium. The proven concept remained unchanged: opening in the morning with the Trachtenkapelle Miesenbacher, performances by children's and youth groups, Goaßlschnalzen in the afternoon, with the Chiemgau Böhmische as the evening highlight.

The Dorffest is an established and reliable fixture in the Chiemgau event calendar — an event that is explicitly not designed for tourists but is equally open to guests and locals. With delicacies, draft beer, and traditional costume culture, it offers an authentic Chiemgau experience in the middle of the summer holiday season.
