Edition 2024 — Dorffest Ratekau
The Dorffest Ratekau 2024 took place on the last weekend of August and followed the proven format: parade on Saturday, live music on two stages, Sunday with morning pint. Thousands of visitors from Ratekau and the surrounding districts came to the village square.
The 2024 edition continued the biennial tradition of the Ratekau village festival. The parade on Saturday afternoon, the opening at Wilhelm-Rehpenn-Platz, and the evening concerts on two stages formed the core of the program — a mix that has proven successful for decades.
With a view to the 2026 Dorffest, the municipal council used the positive feedback from 2024 to largely maintain the format and program structure. The next Dorffest will follow as scheduled in 2026.
