Dorffest Elsen 2025 took place on May 25th, celebrating the event's 40th anniversary with around 125 stands. Approximately 30,000 visitors attended the first full-scale event after the pandemic break. Live concerts on multiple stages, dance groups, hands-on activities, and Sunday shopping marked the day around Von-Ketteler-Straße. The organizers were the Heimat- und Verkehrsverein Elsen and the Werbegemeinschaft.

2025 Village Festival — 40th Anniversary

The 2025 edition marked the 40th anniversary of Dorffest Elsen and also the second full-scale event after the pandemic break. Around 30,000 visitors flocked to the center of Elsen on May 25th, shops participated in Sunday shopping, and several stages along Von-Ketteler-Straße provided live entertainment throughout the day.

The hands-on program (barrel rolling, Bobby Car race, Segway course) and the approximately 125 exhibitor stands demonstrated why Dorffest Elsen has been considered the largest village festival in the Paderborn region for decades.
