Overview

In 2025, „Dörfer zeigen Kunst" also took place in Salem – from August 2 to 17 in the community rooms and the barn at Seestraße 44. The exhibition presented works by various artists in mixed media, oil and acrylic painting, textile art, sculpture, and photography.

The 2025 edition featured works by artists including Abi Agbede, Angelika Brandes, Kurt Plath, and Michael Wartmann at the Salem exhibition venues. As every year, the exhibition was open on Saturdays and Sundays between 1 PM and 6 PM – embedded in the overall programme of the art initiative in the Amt Lauenburgische Seen.

The Barn Seestraße 44 has proven to be an atmospherically excellent space – the combination of wooden beams, natural light, and stable character gives contemporary works a unique impact. In 2025, Salem was, as always, one of 13 participating villages.
