Donauwörther Inselfest with Fischerstechen

The Inselfest 2025 was celebrated on the old town island Ried in the center of Donauwörth, as in previous years. The organizers were the City Initiative Donauwörth e.V. and the Fischerzunft Donauwörth. The highlight, as every year, was the Fischerstechen on the Wörnitz — with an amateur tournament on Friday and the grand professional competition on Saturday, including a festive procession of the competitors.

Catering was provided at the stands of Donauwörth restaurateurs and clubs, and regional bands and cover acts played on the two stages.
