Overview

The 2025 Donausommer once again brought brass music and Swabian festival culture to the Ulm Danube communities of Gögglingen and Donaustetten. A festival tent on the Danube bank, live performances by regional ensembles, and a relaxed district atmosphere characterized the summer weekend.

Donausommer 2025

The 2025 Donausommer took place, as in previous years, on the last weekend of June. The Gögglingen-Donaustetten brass band e.V., as the organizer, set up the festival tent on the Danube bank, invited friendly ensembles, and provided catering together with the clubs from both districts.

Gögglingen and Donaustetten belong to the independent city of Ulm but retain the character of two Danube villages on the southern outskirts. The Donausommer is one of the few annual occasions where the village club culture of these districts becomes visible — away from Ulm's major city festivals.
