Overview

The DJIM 2025 took place at a different German venue — as always, the tournament rotates annually between various farm locations. Around 400 young riders with their Icelandic horses competed in the six classic disciplines. The organizer was, as always, the IPZV. In 2026, the tournament will come to North Frisia for the first time.

Since the DJIM takes place at a different German venue each year, the respective editions are geographically independent of each other. The 2025 edition followed the established five-day format with Tölt, Four-gait, Five-gait, Pace, Dressage, and Cross-country ride. Around 400 young riders determined their German champions in the various age groups.

The organizer is the Icelandic Horse Rider and Breeder Association (IPZV), which will also host the tournament in Grothusenkoog in 2026.
