Overview

The 2025 edition of “Die Hardt bewegt" took place in June 2025 in its usual format. Stage program featuring folklore, hip-hop, jazz, and modern dance, hands-on stations for children, Botanical Garden and Elisenturm open, finale with Meike van Bebber & Friends.

In 2025, the family festival at the Hardt once again attracted several thousand visitors to the park. Families from Wuppertal districts and the nearby Bergisches Land used the Sunday for an extended afternoon in the Hardt area. Stage from 2 PM, hands-on stations from 12 PM, finale in the late afternoon with the music program by Meike van Bebber.

The Wuppertal Youth Welfare Office once again organized the event in cooperation with the Botanical Garden and a number of local cultural and social associations. Free admission, low barrier to entry for all age groups — the format worked in 2025 as in previous years.
