Edition 2025 — Berliner Generalprobe
Die Generalprobe 2025 started on August 24 in Berlin-Steglitz and gathered several thousand runners over the three distances: Bambini, quarter marathon, and half marathon. Schloßstraße in the southwest of Berlin was closed for the event; the run is considered the most important test before the BMW Berlin Marathon at the end of September.
As every year, many registered marathon starters used Die Generalprobe for their final speed test under race conditions. The DLV certification of the course allows for officially recognized best performances to be achieved for the national rankings. SCC EVENTS organized the run for the umpteenth time as the kick-off for Berlin's major running events at the end of summer.
