Overview

The 22nd edition of the Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn took place on April 13, 2025. More than 20,000 participants ran the classic course through Bonn's city center, Rheinaue park, and the government district. The event was sold out in 2025 as well, and the carnival atmosphere along the route proved successful again.

In changeable April weather, all nine disciplines started again in 2025 — Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay, 10 km, Inline, Handbike, and the inclusive and school formats. The men's marathon winner was an East African professional runner with a time under 2:10; for the women, a time just over 2:25 was enough for victory. The competition was again accompanied by a strong field of amateur and charity runners.
