Overview

Deichbrand Festival 2025 took place from July 17th to 20th, 2025, at Nordholz airfield. Up to 60,000 festival guests, four festival days with camping, stage program featuring Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electro. EWE Power Tower and Green Camp initiative as usual.

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the festival's status as one of Northern Germany's largest open-airs. With summery weather, Deichbrand attracted the maximum festival audience; the main stage slots were consistently well-attended, and the camping area was fully booked on all festival days.

In the Hamburg region, Deichbrand is among those festivals central to Hamburg's festival identity, even though they are administratively located outside the city limits. In the 2025 Hamburg summer festival calendar, the date was one of the four most important reference points for Hamburg festival-goers – with a significant impact on Hamburg's hotel, gastronomy, and transport sectors.
