The 58th edition of the Deepejasser Kirmes in June 2025 followed the established three-day format: Jazz and Blues evening on Friday, Senior Citizens' Honour with main stage programme on Saturday, Family Day with children's programme on Sunday — a typical Cologne neighbourhood festival summer at Mauritiuskirchplatz in Altstadt-Süd.

Review 2025

The 58th edition of the Deepejasser Kirmes took place in June 2025, as is traditional, on the weekend after Corpus Christi. The neighbourhood committee organised the festival in its tried-and-tested three-day format around Mauritiuskirchplatz: opening with Jazz and Blues on Friday, Senior Citizens' Honour and live music on Saturday, and a family programme on Sunday.

The event confirmed its reputation as one of the most distinctive neighbourhood festivals in Cologne's city centre — authentic, intergenerational, without tourist staging. The landlords and businesses of the Mauritius quarter contributed, as usual, to the culinary catering.
