The 2025 edition of «De lütte Wiehnacht» once again took place at Schiffbrückenplatz — featuring arts and crafts, culinary delights, and the popular ice rink. The concept of a North German Advent market with a maritime backdrop on the Kiel Canal and a Low German name once again proved its popularity with families from Rendsburg-Eckernförde and guests from the Hamburg region.
The 2025 Advent Market
In 2025, the Rendsburg Christmas Market once again attracted visitors with its proven mix of craft stalls, regional culinary offerings, and the ice rink. The DJ parties on the ice, in particular, drew a younger crowd and extended the market hours into the late evening. As in previous years, Santa Claus visited the market on the four Advent weekends, distributing small tokens to the children.
