Edition 2025 — DDR Oldtimertreffen Gingst

The 3rd edition of the DDR Oldtimer- und Simsontreffen took place on May 31, 2025, at the KTZV home in Gingst. The growing event attracted dozens of enthusiasts of Trabant, Wartburg, Simson, and MZ to the West Rügen peninsula. With trophy judging, a dealer mile, a children's program, and an evening dance, the meeting followed the proven format of previous years.

Review of the 3rd DDR Oldtimer- und Simson Meeting 2025

On the last weekend of May 2025, the KTZV home in Gingst opened its doors for the 3rd edition of the now-established meeting. Enthusiasts from all over Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and partly also from Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt, traveled with their historic vehicles.

The exhibited Trabants, Wartburgs, Simsons, and MZs were judged by a panel of experts, with trophies going to the respective winners in each category. On the dealer mile, mechanics found spare parts and specialized literature. The children's program with a bouncy castle and Simson games created a family atmosphere, while the evening dance provided a convivial conclusion.

Programme

The complete program for 2025 (performances, trophy winners, raffle winners) was not centrally documented. The basic structure (trophy judging for 2-stroke and 4-stroke, dealer mile, children's program, evening dance from 8 PM) is known and maintained each year.
