Overview
In 2025, numerous industrial monuments and museums in Wuppertal also opened their doors for the Day of Industrial Culture. Families, industrial fans, and tourists took advantage of the day for an extended tour through the Bergisches Land, from the Museum of Early Industrialization to the Gaskessel.
The 2025 edition continued the established concept. Several industrial monuments, museums, and alternative cultural venues opened their doors for free or at a reduced price. The Nordbahntrasse, as in previous years, served as an ideal connecting route between the stops — by bike or on foot.
Programme
Sunday tour through the Museum of Early Industrialization, Engels House, Manuelskotten, Nordbahntrasse, Utopiastadt, and Gaskessel. Special guided tours and live demonstrations.
