Overview

In 2025, the courtyard of the Oberes Schloss Siegen once again transformed into an open-air stage on several summer evenings. Concerts and cabaret evenings attracted audiences from the entire Siegen-Wittgenstein district and beyond. The series once again confirmed its role as a musical and cultural summer highlight in Southwestphalia.

In the summer of 2025, the "Das Beste kommt zum Schloss" series once again brought several prominent acts from music and cabaret to the Schlossberg. The concept — a few, but carefully selected evenings instead of a condensed multi-day festival — is considered the series' recipe for success and secures it a loyal regular audience from the entire Siegen-Wittgenstein district.

Integrated into the cultural summer program of Kultur! Siegen, other open-air formats such as the Grüne Bühne in the Herrengarten and Sonntagnachmittag um 4 in the tent arena complemented the offerings. This creates a dense cultural network throughout the summer, providing programming for the Siegen city center.
