The 12th Darmstadt Days of Photography took place in spring 2024 with a similar format: 9th Merck Award, curated exhibitions at the classic DTdF venues, symposium, and opening weekend.
The 12th edition of the DTdF followed the established format. With the 12th edition, the series continued as a biennial festival – the festival takes place every two years, alternating with the off-year activities of the support association. The Merck Award was presented for the 9th time, and exhibitions were again spread across the central Darmstadt venues between Mathildenhöhe and the city center.
