Edition 2025 — DEMM Munich

In 2025, Backstage Munich once again transformed into the meeting point for the European extreme metal scene over Easter. Over 30 bands on three stages, a sold-out weekend, and a lineup showcasing the full spectrum of Black, Death, Doom, and Atmospheric Black Metal. The 2025 edition continued the uninterrupted series of sold-out editions since 2018.

The 2025 edition cemented DEMM's reputation as an uncompromising extreme metal platform in Southern Germany. MRW Concerts curated a lineup that combined big names with newcomers, once again utilizing the three stages of the Backstage complex for non-stop programming. As every year, the festival was sold out weeks in advance, with attendees traveling from all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and beyond. Detailed program information for the 2025 edition can be found in the archive at mrw-concerts.de.
