Overview
The 43rd edition of “Dä längste Desch vun Kölle” took place on September 20th and 21st, 2025, on Severinstraße. As every year, approx. 120 stalls, a live stage, the children's area at Karl-Berbuer-Platz, and the art mile in Hirschgässchen filled the Severinsviertel.
Despite changeable September weather, tens of thousands of visitors flocked to the Südstadt again in 2025. The Sunday shopping on September 21st complemented the festival with the traditional shopping stroll. Kölsch urban culture — neighbourhood life, live music, children's carousel, arts and crafts — was celebrated again for a weekend, without the excesses of some gentrified district festivals in other major German cities.
