Overview
The CubaJena Festival 2025 took place from October 31 to November 2 at KuBuS Jena-Lobeda. Workshops in Salsa Cubana, Rueda de Casino, and Son, live percussion sessions, and two evening parties marked the festival weekend — led by Jenaer Tanzhaus e.V. and four dance couples as workshop instructors.
CubaJena 2025 in Jena-Lobeda
In 2025, the CubaJena Festival once again attracted dance enthusiasts from Central Germany and beyond to Jena. Workshops in Casino, Rueda de Casino, Son, and Rueda de Son were held at KuBuS Jena-Lobeda, live percussion sessions accompanied the evening parties, and four dance couples led the block workshops at various levels. Attending the festival allows for deep immersion into Cuban dance forms — from Casino beginners to advanced Son dancers.
