Overview
The CSD Gelsenkirchen 2025 already took place under the political banner 'Against the Right'. Demonstration, street festival, and stage program in the city center — a reaction to the above-average potential for right-wing populist and right-wing extremist voters in the region.
The supporting structure via demokrateam.org and the alliance of local initiatives was firmly established in 2025 and seamlessly continues the concept in 2026. The CSD Gelsenkirchen is part of a growing network of queer-political events in western North Rhine-Westphalia.
