Erfurt 2025 — Queer Visibility in Thuringia

CSD Erfurt 2025 took place against the backdrop of a challenging political climate in Thuringia. Despite the right-wing shift in the region, the queer community made its voice heard loudly and visibly: the parade from the main train station to Domplatz attracted thousands of participants, and the street festival on Domplatz with live music, drag performances, and political statements made the day a central event for queer activism in Central Germany.
