Overview

The 47th edition of Berlin's Christopher Street Day took place on July 26, 2025. The parade started in central Berlin and went through the historic queer Schöneberg to the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate. Despite intense heat and rising social tensions, hundreds of thousands of participants came together to demonstrate for queer rights and against discrimination.

The 47th Berlin CSD parade on July 26, 2025, was a gathering point for Berlin's queer community and its allies. On hundreds of trucks and floats, LGBTIQ* initiatives, embassies, companies, and political groups marched through the city. Politically, the focus was on the debates surrounding the Self-Determination Act, the increase in homophobic and transphobic hate crimes, and the asylum rights of queer refugees.

Berlin's CSD remains one of the largest Pride events in Europe and the culmination of the Pride Weeks in July. In 2025, as in previous years, it also promoted the visibility of queer people beyond the capital, who face growing hostility in many federal states.
