Overview
The 19th Berlin Canal Pride took place on Thursday, July 24, 2025. With over 20 boats and thousands of spectators on the banks, the parade was once again one of the most prominent queer statements of the Berlin Pride Weeks. Confirmed acts included the MS Wappen von Spandau, the DS Gustav, BOILER, and Capital City, as well as numerous queer collectives from Berlin and Brandenburg. The highlight was again the Puschelalarm in front of the Reichstag embankment.
2025 Review
The 19th edition of the boat parade confirmed the Canal Pride's place in Berlin's Pride calendar as a fixed kick-off before the main CSD demonstration. With the harbour festival as the closing party, political visibility, community encounters, and queer Berlin stage art combined to form a constant, to which the 2026 anniversary seamlessly connects.
