Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Crottendorf
The Crottendorf Christmas Market 2025 took place on the 2nd Advent weekend on the market square. The pyramid lighting ceremony by the Crottendorf Brass Band, a visit from Santa Claus, a Stollen cutting ceremony, a craft corner for children, and performances by the Zschopautal Men's Choir and the Schlettau Brass Choir characterized the weekend in the Ore Mountains' incense cone village.
Christmas Market 2025
On the 2nd Advent weekend of 2025, the Crottendorf market square was once again transformed into a small, atmospheric Advent market. The Crottendorf Brass Band set the central pyramid in motion, Santa Claus visited the children with gifts, and a large Stollen was ceremoniously cut and distributed.
The distinctive scent of incense cones, originating directly from the Crottendorf manufactory, hung over the market — an atmosphere that sets Crottendorf apart from other Ore Mountain markets. Performances by the Zschopautal Men's Choir and the Schlettau Brass Choir, a warm craft corner for children, and regional specialties rounded off the market. A preparatory edition for the 2026 season.
