The Craftsmen and Threshing Day in 2025, as usual, took place on the first weekend of September at Schloss Schleinitz — with historical threshing demonstrations, washerwomen, feather pluckers, and blacksmiths in the picturesque castle grounds of the Lommatzscher Pflege.
Threshing Day 2025
The Craftsmen and Threshing Day 2025 continued the tradition: threshing demonstrations with flails and old threshing machines, complemented by demonstrations from washerwomen, feather pluckers, blacksmiths, and other craftsmen. As every year, the festival attracted numerous families from the region and beyond to the castle grounds.
