Overview
The 2025 Walzernacht took place in July on the Altmarkt in Cottbus. The Philharmonic Orchestra, with the participation of ensemble soloists, presented waltzes and dance classics in an open-air setting that has been a fixture of the Lower Lusatia summer for years.
Previous Edition 2025
The Cottbuser Walzernacht 2025 continued the tradition established in recent years. With a white dress code, free dance instruction, and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Staatstheater Cottbus, the Altmarkt once again became the open-air ballroom of Lower Lusatia. With the motto "LIKE IN A FAIRY TALE," the 2026 Walzernacht builds upon the ballet premiere Aschenbrödel from late summer 2025.
