Overview
From November 22, 2025, to February 9, 2026, 400 four-meter-high conifers transformed the Cottbus city promenade into the Winter Forest. Mulled wine huts, fire zones, an elf workshop, live music, and fire shows made the market once again a winter meeting point in Lusatia.
The 2025/26 Season
In 2025/26, the Cottbus Winter Forest ran its now-established long season from late November to early February. The city promenade was open daily from 4 PM, with live music and fire shows on weekends. Free admission.
Concept
The Winter Forest is considered the "only continuous winter forest in Lusatia," distinguishing it from the region's classic Christmas markets.
