Overview
In 2025, the Cottbus Soapbox Derby continued the tradition of enhancing the annual community festival in Sachsendorf with a sporty and playful element. Self-built soapbox cars in several classes, a day full of spectator atmosphere, and a dedicated team from the neighborhood center characterized the race.
The community festival, as usual, lasted three days and attracted thousands of visitors from southern Cottbus and the adjacent Lausitz region.
