Community Foundation Christmas Market 2025

The Bürgerstiftung Gütersloh hosted its annual Community Foundation Christmas Market 2025 on December 6 at the Old Church Square. As in previous years, the market brought together around 30 non-profit clubs, schools, initiatives, and service clubs from the city — each with its own stall and handmade items for sale.

The concept remained consistently successful: Advent wreaths, knitwear, jams, wood crafts, and culinary specialties as offerings — mulled wine and punch in the Advent atmosphere of the half-timbered setting around the Apostelkirche — and in the end, the proceeds go to the individual clubs for their own projects. This makes the market one of the most distinctive and socially effective Christmas markets in Ostwestfalen-Lippe.
