In 2025, ColognePride once again gathered around 1.4 million visitors in Cologne during the summer. The CSD demonstration marched through the city center with tens of thousands of participants and over a million spectators — the highlight of a multi-week Pride festival featuring cinema, theater, parties, and discussions throughout the city.
ColognePride 2025 — Pride Summer in Cologne
The 2025 edition once again confirmed ColognePride's status as Europe's largest Pride event. The CSD demonstration, the CSD street festival on Heumarkt, Gürzenich, and Alter Markt, along with a multi-week accompanying program in cinemas, theaters, clubs, and bars, attracted 1.4 million visitors from across Europe and overseas. Organizer Kölner Lesben- und Schwulentag e.V. (KLuST) coordinated the festival in its usual successful manner — a tradition unbroken since 1991. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 2026 season with the motto “FOR QUEER RIGHTS — Many. Together. Strong!”
