Overview

The 2025 edition of the Cologne Comedy Festival took place in October and November at over 20 venues in Cologne — from the Gloria Theater and Stadthalle to COMEDIA. Stand-up, cabaret, live podcasts, family comedy, and the 1Live Comedy Night XXL formed the backbone of the three-week programme. Headliners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and international guests.

As in previous years, the festival filled Cologne's comedy stages for three weeks in 2025 with several parallel shows daily. Galas, talent slams, staged readings, children's and family programmes covered the entire spectrum of the comedy industry. In addition to being a public event, the festival also serves as an industry meeting point for TV production companies, organisers, and managers.

Programme

Over 200 shows in three weeks — stand-up galas, late-night formats, family comedy, live podcasts, and the NightWash Talent Award for emerging talent. Venues: Gloria, Stadthalle, COMEDIA, Atelier, Senftöpfchen, Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz, among others.
